stone Studio – A Traditional Form with Rugged Charm built with Steven Saharek and Michael Gianfrancheschi. Two local masons that taught me everything I know.
This compact structure is clad in a mix of locally sourced fieldstone and granite, laid in a tight-coursed pattern that gives the building both texture and heft. The standing seam metal roof, with its crisp vertical lines and functional vent pipe, offers a modern contrast to the rustic masonry. A pea gravel terrace edged in stone provides a clean, natural transition from lawn to façade, echoing the dry-laid stone wall nestled into the adjacent garden. A timeless balance of utility and craftsmanship.
