This firebox interior was finished with thermally stable, custom-cut soapstone tiles set in a tight horizontal running bond. Each piece was carefully dry-fitted and installed using high-temperature mortar, ensuring durability under repeated heating cycles. The natural veining and dark tones of the soapstone enhance both heat retention and visual contrast, offering a clean, modern finish within a traditional masonry surround. We precision-trimmed edges for minimal grout lines and a seamless, fire-safe interior upgrade.
